A mindful summer camp experience guiding women to re-connect with joy through play, nature and friendship.
If you're a woman somewhere in the middle of your life, chances are you're experiencing at least one (but likely more) significant life transitions.
-
kids leaving home
-
retirement
-
loss of relationships
-
changes in your body
-
caring for aging parents
And within these changes, you may notice a restlessness that calls you to pay attention to the shift that is also going on within you; within your soul.
Playful Activities + Nature + Community + Circle Discussions = Re-Connection
Spend three carefree days and relaxing nights renewing yourself and reconnecting with your authentic self at the Nurtured by Nature Retreat and Playhouse.
It's no fun feeling stuck with the responsibilities of always having to act like an adult, in a pattern of doing the same old "supposed-to" things that do little to make your soul smile.
Our Camp KidAgain Retreat is intended to find the just right middle ground between the freedom of childhood and mindful, guided growth that comes with the wisdom of midlife. We trust that play and nature therapy activities will be our greatest teachers. Then we add guided conversations for intention setting, consciousness raising, self reflection and to integrate the learning so that the lessons learned find their way back into your regular life.

The Camp KidAgain Retreat is designed to support you to express your child-like spirit and nourish your body and soul.
-
It's a space to let go of adult responsibilities and self-judgement.
-
It's an opportunity to remind yourself just how strong and resilient you are.
-
It's the chance to have fun, do what brings you joy and connect with your authentic self.
-
It's a setting where you can fully immerse yourself in nature for healing, connecting and learning.
-
It bring together other like-spirited women who are committed to personal growth and learning.

At Camp KidAgain I got to do all the things I wanted to do and met some really great women. I got away without it costing me a fortune and the location was nice and close to Winnipeg. It was a nice relaxing experience with fun activities that I had been neglecting because of my other commitments. I especially appreciated being taken care of. That was a well needed treat!

I wanted to have fun doing things that I haven't done in a long time or had never tried before. Camp KidAgain provided me with the opportunity to be active and do some creative things with a completely clear head and just be present in the moment. The camp was a nice balance between fun, challenging and creative.

The joy that came from hiking, painting, campfires, and tubing made me more mindful of the value of play and I’m committed to making it a part of my daily life with a fresh confidence in my ability to try new things. I made new friends and the “campers” are staying in touch and enjoying supporting each other beyond our retreat experience.
My advice to any woman who is looking for a safe space to just “BE”, without the daily obligations of being an adult, is to go to Camp KidAgain. Patti and Amy were dedicated to ensuring that all needs, big and small, were exquisitely attended to throughout Camp KidAgain. It’s a gift of self care you deserve. It will nurture every part of you.

For me, this opportunity of Camp KidAgain was about taking time for myself and letting myself be challenged by new opportunities and connecting with other women with similar interests. The setting in Pinawa, the range of different activities, and the lodging created the perfect place to relax, get away and truly be a kid again!
